CHARMS already implements State and Federal Reforms
For as long as child welfare organizations have existed, laws and regulations have constantly changed. The challenge is that every State has their own set of regulations and social care agencies working across multiple states have to try to comply and stay up to date. Legislators across the USA have begun to fine tune out of date requirements for the first time since 2008. These reforms include preventing negligence, expanding resources for mental health, and improved reporting. These new reforms benefits a demographic of Native American Child welfare here in Arizona.
Across the USA, both tribal and non-tribal child welfare agencies deserve quality and security. CHARMS already delivers what these new reforms are trying to improve, and it already does it now. It has existed in UK over two decades and is establishing itself in the US an accessible affordable system.
